HOW TO USE OPENCRATE

Paste a playlist URL from Suno, SoundCloud, or Spotify into the input field on either Deck A or Deck B, then click FETCH.

The tracks will appear as vinyl records in the crate below the input. Click any vinyl to load it onto the deck.

Note: Spotify provides 30-second preview clips only, due to their licensing restrictions.

Once a track is loaded, press PLAY to start playback. The turntable will spin and the waveform will animate in real-time.

The BPM is auto-detected and displayed in the deck header. Use the TEMPO fader to adjust playback speed from -50% to +50%.

The MIXER panel in the center provides:

• EQ (HI / MID / LOW) — Adjust frequency bands for each deck. Double-click to reset.
• FILTER — Low-pass and high-pass filter per deck. Center position is flat.
• CROSSFADER — Blend between Deck A (left) and Deck B (right).
• VU METERS — Real-time level display for each deck.

The mixer offers 6 one-touch transition presets. The direction indicator shows which deck the transition will move to (e.g., A to B).

• BASS SWAP — Kill bass on outgoing, swap, then fade.
• CLEAN FADE — Smooth linear crossfade.
• FILTER SWEEP — Low-pass out, high-pass in.
• ECHO DROP — EQ drop with fast crossfade.
• PUNCH CUT — Hard cut between decks.
• STUTTER — Rapid alternating crossfade pulses.

Enable AUTO-MIX in the header to automatically trigger a transition when the active deck has 15 seconds or less remaining. Make sure the other deck has a track loaded and ready.

Press SYNC on a deck to match its BPM to the other deck. This adjusts the tempo fader automatically.

• Use the copy button to duplicate a playlist from one deck to the other.
• Hover over vinyl records to see track names.
• The LED indicators throughout the interface show active states and playback status.
• On mobile, use the tab bar to switch between decks and mixer. Play controls are always visible at the bottom.
